How much does it cost to install an EV charger on the Gold Coast?

How long does the installation take?
Most home installs take around 4 hours on site. Switchboard upgrades, long cable runs or three-phase work can take longer, and we’ll tell you upfront.
Which chargers do you install?
All of them. Ocular is our go-to supply, and we regularly install Tesla Wall Connectors, Zappi, Wallbox, Fronius Wattpilot and others. We also install chargers you’ve bought yourself.
Do I need three-phase power?
Usually not. A 7kW single-phase charger fully charges most EVs overnight. If you have three-phase power and want faster 11–22kW charging, we can do that too. 7kW vs 22kW explained.
Will my switchboard need an upgrade?
Some older Gold Coast boards don’t have the space or capacity for a dedicated EV circuit. Tell the calculator what your board looks like and it prices the upgrade; our electricians health-check the board on the day and confirm before starting. Asbestos panels are the one thing we can’t work on.
Are there any EV charger rebates in Queensland?
Incentives change regularly and there is currently no state rebate we can point you to for a home charger. We’ll let you know if that changes.
Do you do apartments, strata and commercial car parks?
